@cenkuygur If the only thing you’re ever going to do is bitch about Israel everywhere you go you’re going to get pushed away. And I read your material daily. That’s all you talk about. It’s boring.

I’ve been banned from the UK. I tried to get on a flight to London to attend SXSW London and give a speech at Oxford. I’ve been banned for criticizing Israel. Are we free anymore? This is oppression of Western citizens by our own governments on behalf of a different country!

Clavicular says the average person isn't worth interacting with because all they do is watch football and drink beer "There's really not that many people who are worth interacting with, I would say. Most people are extremely jester, or they've just completely misprioritized their lives" "I would say the average person that you meet, who's an enjoyer of sports, who drinks beer, for example, and says, 'Let's go have a beer at the pub and watch Sunday football,' that's the worst thing that you could do. You should be on PubMed reading various different studies on how you could improve your looks"

American was ordering DoorDash from Gibson’s Steakhouse in Chicago On the app it asks if you would like to add a carrot cake. It’s $23.50 for the slice. It seems expensive but she ads it anyway This is what she received… It’s a House made Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and Walnuts I found the reason for this shocking situation is because the steakhouse is known for oversized, old-school steakhouse portions According to reviewers online it’s well worth it and people say it’s very good tasting I’d recommend only ordering this if you’re with a group of people Personally I think this is actually a pretty good value, but the price does seem shocking at first if you’ve never seen it

Administrative assistant for the city believe her feelings trump the rights of the citizens. In this tense encounter, an independent journalist enters city offices to exercise a basic legal right: inspecting the public records index. Under Washington state law (RCW 42.56.070), this document is required to be available for public inspection. It’s not a favor; it’s the law. Enter Sabrina Costik, an administrative assistant who claims to be "brand new" but is already attempting to rewrite the Constitution based on her personal feelings. The exchange highlights a growing and dangerous trend in public service—the idea that personal "traumas and triggers" override the civil rights of the public. Throughout the video, Sabrina argues that: Her "comfort level" should dictate where a citizen stands. Her "liberties" are being violated by a camera in a government building. Recording her is "incredibly rude," effectively prioritizing social etiquette over the First Amendment. The situation required the intervention of Deputy Chief Matt McKnight of the Chehalis Police Department. In a masterclass of de-escalation and legal clarity, McKnight had to explain the hard truth to his own staff: when you are a public servant in a public building, you do not have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" while performing your duties. McKnight—who is currently campaigning for Lewis County Sheriff—remained professional, but the core issue remains: Why are public employees being put behind counters without a fundamental understanding of the Bill of Rights? As far as McKnight, he is running for sheriff in 2026 and his understanding and respect for the rights of the citizens is everything you would want in county sheriff. That said, as far as Sabrina, when "I’m uncomfortable" becomes a tool to suppress transparency, the public loses.

Some guy tipped me ten dollars in quarters, and I’m still trying to figure out what kind of person thinks that’s acceptable. I just finished a DoorDash order, and he casually mentions he forgot to tip in the app—which, fine, not ideal, whatever. Then he dramatically pulls out a literal roll of quarters like he’s handing me the crown jewels. He looks me dead in the eye and says, “Sorry man, I didn’t tip on the app, this is all I’ve got.” Yeah, thanks. I love holding a handful of coins like it’s 1998. I don’t use change. I’m not a parking meter. I’m not walking around with rolls of quarters or dumping them into a Coinstar just to get the money I already earned. I took it because arguing over coins isn’t how I planned to spend my day, but that doesn’t make it okay. Tipping in quarters is peak absurdity. Tip in the app, tip in bills, tip digitally—literally anything that doesn’t involve me schlepping around loose metal. Acting like this is normal? Pure comedy. And yes, no one should ever think a pocketful of coins counts as a tip.

I had a frustrating experience last week with @StubHub. I made a last minute decision to take my son to a @BlueJays game, as I was browsing for tickets for the coming weeks but noticed a well-priced pair of tickets for that night in the 100 level, so snapped them up. I was looking forward to telling my son about our 100 level seats then got an email from StubHub informing me that they’d upgraded my seats. Oh, cool — so a closer row in the 100s? Nope. They had switched my seats to a pair in the back row of the 200 level, which was an obstructed view (couldn’t see high balls) because of the 500 section overhang. I had no option to reject this supposed upgrade. Now I know there are many cases where 200 can be an upgrade from 100, but definitely not always and I didn’t feel so in this situation. What made them better? They were a couple sections closer to home plate. I also think that, based on the pricing algorithm, they may have been more expensive at a certain moment in time than my seats, but not by much. I’m sharing this because I had never had this experience before with StubHub - which I don’t use a lot… maybe several times a year. And the other sports dads I’ve mentioned it to had the same reaction as me. I’m guessing their right to do this is covered in the fine print, but that’s not the point. Also, people buy certain tickets for certain reasons - I genuinely wanted those specific seats. And what if we were buying them because friends / family were in the seats beside? Has anyone else had this experience? Has your StubHub upgrade been a disappointment or a legit upgrade to a much superior seat?

Starbucks CEO defends a cup of coffee costing $9 He says the customers needs to just not think about it as a $9 cup of coffee, you’re paying for the “experience” of getting a Starbucks coffee “In some cases a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging, and then what that means is we have to make it worthwhile.” He says Starbucks customers “want to have a special experience and regardless of what your income level is, in some cases, a $9 experience does feel like you're splurging — well, this is a really affordable premium experience” How out of touch could a person possibly be…
