I have done gynaecology and women's health as a GP for 23 years, and I have never seen toxic shock syndrome from a tampon. I have fished out A LOT of retained tampons. Medically possible obv, but I was made to be terrified of it by leaflets as a teen. Other experiences?

Also being asked by parents in schools worked at.Teacher with 15 years experience charge £40. Less experienced maybe more like £30-40

@Itsmefonzie @369manifester It’s 18 feet in many places. Knocked unconscious….Leg got trapped….became unwell….it’s entirely possible….what’s unusual is not finding her yet in slow flowing water

@mollybird79 Absolutely this is anticipatory grief it is incredibly tough. You know you are about to lose someone and all the emotions that brings. The thoughts of what life will be without them and then that incredible guilt on how you could possibly imagine life without them.

Remember this when you vote in the next General Election. On the day rocketing energy prices frighten millions of people as to how they will survive this winter, the response from the Conservative Govt is silence. No Minister on the mornings media. And vote them out.
