The logic of this would entail endorsing republican flags being erected across mixed residential areas…..because the bridges, street names & public buildings fronting them were named without the consent of nationalists.

This is just painful to read. One would understand if a country is completely bankrupt and has no financial resources to defend itself. But in Ireland, it’s just an anti-defense culture and “neutrality”.
