@aazharnaeem In fact I made exactly the opposite case. When going to an economic challenged labor pool… instead of asking can we go cheaper… the better question is what can I get from a higher dollar value. In other words… what is the price of your best people?

@bgalbs I’ve become a big fan of @logseq in this space over the last year.

Bootstrapping my knowledge in a new domain. Building “second brain” in a giant Google Doc. Have you tried PKM systems like Obsidian and Roam? Are they worth it? I’m feeling like the switching cost, learning curve, and loss of Docs network effects just aren’t worth it for me.

@kensipe @balajis thinks there is a certain breed of geek that just wants to do something hard and Elon attracts them and repels most else. Problem is when your personal desires change but you have massive golden handcuffs. The tradeoffs of doing the right thing can be painful.

Great example of how tech is easy… inspiring and leading humans is hard. The old school approaches of demanding loyalty does not inspire nor lead to loyalty. We need and deserve better! In the meantime… this is hilarious!

@SolveFinPlan Regarding Elon being a good leader… there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. He seems like someone that did well (or was lucky) resulting in him thinking he is he can do anything. His current leadership is poor.

@SolveFinPlan As you indicate, respect should work both ways. A leader shouldn’t hate on their employees publicly either. This recent trend of firing people on Twitter is cowardly and toxic. Better is the old adage of praise publicly and critic privately. Outcomes of not are playing out.
