during the election liberals said they and Kamala really cared about Palestinians, they promised you they really did. Now all they do is gleefully gloat and celebrate Trump's continuation of Genocide Joe and Kamala's policies. Never vote for Democrats in your life again. Never.

@Eduventuring04 These ppl are gaslighting the hell out of you to cover for modern day segregation academies. A lot of the parents are getting tuition paid by the state bc they’ve sued the local public school for lack of FAPE (which doesn’t apply to private schools). A whole racket.

Private schools don’t have tier 2 or 3 supports. Kids in need of supports leave (or are asked to leave) for schools that do (public)

@eduleadership It has the power of lore and it is maddening. They get to opt out of all the things private schools are required to do. It is segregationist policy that is the benefit to them.

@eduleadership What ppl aren’t going to mention with the “lots of private schools educate special needs”. Subtract how many of them are there from suing their local public schools for lack of FAPE. The public is paying to subsidize these schools and some we are subsidizing wholly.

A lot of people seem to not realize that some students are more expensive to educate because they have higher levels of need that require additional staffing. Private schools simply do not accept those students in the first place.
Jeremy Wayne Tate@JeremyTate41

The average cost to educate a public school student is $20,000 per year, the average Catholic school elementary tuition is about $4,500. In other words, Catholic schools get better results with 1/4th the money.

Dems have only sharpened their knives against Bernie & the left. Problem is that leaves you ill prepared to fight someone with real authoritarian/fascist ambition. You’ve been sparring with the wrong opponent the whole time & now every1 will pay. Complete disappointment.

Any serious critic of Israel is automatically deemed a "Hamas sympathizer." This is, by design, intended to condition work and study in the US on either vocally expressing love for Israel or staying silent: courtesy of the people claiming to restore free speech in the US.

@lawindsor @JonBowzerBauman That is irrelevant to the responsibility they have to the millions of ppl that DID vote for them. Absolute nonsense. They should just resign if they’re so butt hurt ppl had opinions about them they don’t like.

JUST IN: Billionaire Nicole Shanahan vows to fund primary challengers of 13 specific U.S. Senators who don't support RFK Jr's confirmation, calls them out by name. Good. "I will make it my personal mission that you lose your seats in the Senate if you vote against the future health of America's children." "To senators Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Bill Cassidy, Thom Tillis, James Lankford, Cory Booker, John Fetterman, Bernie Sanders, and Catherine Cortez Masto..." "This is a bipartisan message and it comes directly from me. While Bobby may be willing to play nice, I won't if you vote against him." What if the irrational voting is because people are disempowered and trapped in a system that they have little to no effect on, so the only way you have left is to act out. (Not talking about the racists here, they exist but their motivation is clear)

@educator4ever36 Been saying this for years. They should start asking why the head of school of the private school ip the road with 300 kids has more autonomy than they do. Gross level of disregard and bias.

This. Most public school Principals have so little autonomy over their schools anymore. We are merely implementers of a board and/or Superintendent’s mandates.
👩🏼‍💻Allison Curry👩🏼‍💻@AllisonETEC

@JamieClass5 @educator4ever36 @OSHA_DOL You bring up an important point - building principals are often pressured by district admin to make decisions that are completely out of touch with reality to make things look good from the outside looking in. (See also: graduation rates and credit recovery)
