Certain sun exposure can actually be a treatment for psoriasis - a treatment called phototherapy or narrow-band UVB is done in a Dermatologist's office or sometimes in your own home. But if you get a sunBURN it can cause a psoriasis flare due to damage in the skin #PsoriasisChat

@lfly @sharecare @lfly This is not normal. She should definitely see a dermatologist. Palmoplantar psoriasis can be challenging to treat, but we have a few good treatments for them. The key is to find someone who specializes in psoriasis. -Dr. Armstrong #talkpsoriasis
