@bluebirdk7 That certainly took me back. But lets not forget the many finger biting cold weekends spent on predator lifting and shifting. Searching & recovering every last bit of K7 we could possibly find. Thus enabling Bluebird to be rebuilt using every bit of original material possible.

@bluebirdk7 Would love to see K7 in 2024, but why do you need contracts signed? Can you not run the boat on Bute or somewhere else for the public to enjoy ? I’m no expert but the legal stuff sounds like years to sort out. You have the boat and the expertise so let’s enjoy it 👍

Being on display in coniston is for the few. Being run and filmed is for the many. There has to be a compromise

Today we have mailed the RM's lawyers with a very straightforward question.
Would their clients like Bluebird dismantled or not?
For the record, BBP would choose a deal that sees us operating K7 and the museum displaying her but the ball is firmly in their court.
