You are making the most ignorant, worst, irrelevant, self-absorbed takes I may have seen in a while. If you have 1 million monthly listeners, let alone 18 million, you are popular. If you have a song on the chart, you are popular. Whether or not these artists last is a completely separate topic and question, not if they are currently popular, because they are. Stop bringing up Lil Nas X; your point is completely irrelevant and makes no sense. He is still a popular artist. He has songs that are platinum, still on the radio; that is a successful artist.

FINAL UPDATE on the Marty Supreme LA pop up: Organizers allowed a group of 8 resellers to loop the front gate and buy multiple bags full of Marty Supreme Jackets. That one group reportedly bought over 75+ jackets. Reselling them just one corner away. They then proceeded to cut off the line and hand out ping pong balls to the remaining 200+ people as a consolation prize. Genuinely, one of the worst events I’ve ever seen.
