@EmilySm43 My mother never forced me to eat anything in particular, but what the family was eating was what was available. If I didn't want to eat it, that was fine, but she wasn't making anything special. Having said that, I'm not really a picky eater so that didn't really come up often.

@Chris__X__ You're aware that stores get paid for the groceries that get bought with food stamps, right? Also stores throw out so much food its crazy, so even with that added market, there is an excessive surplus. People on good stamps have absolutely no effect on the cost of food.

Maybe groceries are so expensive because 42 million people get theirs for free. Just a thought.

I will admit it. I LOVED Trump unhinged when he was on the campaign trail. He was outspoken, politically incorrect and fearless in his brutality. And I loved it. In the wake of so much political correctness, it was refreshing to see a man who didn't care what people thought. He was a breath of fresh air. He wasn't a politician and that's what I loved about him. The problem is, our chickens have come home to roots. We said, "let Trump be Trump." Now here we are. On the brink of nuclear war. Pray for America. We did this to ourselves. And to the world.
