Last week, we had to say goodbye to Scudder. We were gifted twelve years with him, and while it will never feel like enough, we are grateful he was brought into our lives. He shaped our days. He knew when it was a day for a long walk, when it was a day to stay in bed with the heat blankets a little longer, and he was ALWAYS aware when it was time for dinner. He loved being silly and would smile when he knew he had made us laugh. Thank you for all of it, Scudder. Until we see you again, we love you so, so very much.

@sylessae I visited in Taiwan a place called rainbow village where a retired soldier painted the barracks. No formal art training. Just got the courage and started painting one day. It brings thousands of tourist every year. He just passed away last year. Be fearless. Paint! Go!

Fear keeps us orbiting our creative goals and never truly going after them. What will people think? What if people don't get it? What if it doesn't turn out how I picture it? But, what would you create if you were fearless?
