I have to screenshot because Mr. Green has me blocked - and of course Aarvoll is leading the RTTL effort, and doing an excellent job of it, but I’d still like to voice an opinion here… I think Adam is an atheist, but his message attracts many Pagan folks. I’ve known many deeply principled and thoughtful and good Pagans - some of whom actually seem to be closer to God than a few self-professed Christians out there - and these are genuinely good people. I don’t reject any genetic/cultural brother simply due to a different belief system.. we live in a confused age, have very difficult questions to answer, and it’ll take some time for us to piece together our history and answer these questions properly. What I reject (and I strongly assume this is what Peter speaks of here) is that very small niche subset that seems completely devoted to stoking friction and hostility between camps, at any cost, who leave a trail of rage and hostility in their wake.. if our time and energy is spent at one another’s throats, we will get nowhere, and this is guaranteed. Nothing would make our opposition happier. I greatly appreciate those that can walk the more difficult path of respecting our differences, who seek a future where we might someday mend them.. or at least come to better understand each other. Anyone with a genuine heart pulling in a similar direction is a friend and ally, in my book.. and I think most of us are agreed, here.
