@arne__ness yeah that might not work. i think there are many use cases that do make sense tho! In my case I wanted a way to enrich a static text-narrative site (vibecoded in less than 1h). trying to enrich the story even more with interesting animations for given story beats

There is a passage in The Two Towers which is arguably among the most important across the books. Frodo and Sam are asleep outside the entrance to Shelob's lair when Smeagol sidles up to Frodo. Tolkien writes that anyone who saw him would have thought was just a very tired old hobbit. He is written in such affectionate terms here. It is clear that in this moment Smeagol was very close to embracing the Good. But Sam wakes up, assumes the worst about his intentions, and that's that. Smeagol was killed in that moment and Gollum was what remained. The movies could and should have included this scene. It would have added SO MUCH depth to the already deep on screen character of Smeagol/Gollum. We all wrestle with the good and evil in our own hearts. Not everyone wins that match. That is the lesson of Gollum in the books and movies alike.

One reason I think the Bella Twins reunion has been all over the place is because the people in charge don’t like it when wrestlers openly criticize the company. And the Bellas have been very vocal whenever they don’t like something.

The Bella Twins said so much time was cut from their match against Nia Jax & Lash Legend - that is why they didn’t do the backflip entrance. They promise to do it on SMACKDOWN this week! (THE NIKKI & BRIE SHOW)

@Andr3jH @allenf32 This was when I learned the difference between perspective of children and adults. As a kid I thought it was cool, but the adults around me were all just like "uhhh..."

Martin Scorsese on Todd Field’s TÁR: “For so long now, so many of us see films that pretty much let us know where they’re going. I mean, they take us by the hand and, even if it’s disturbing at times, sort of comfort us along the way that it will be all okay by the end. Now this is insidious, as one can get lulled into this and ultimately get used to it, leading those of us who’ve experienced cinema in the past as much more than that to become despairing of the future of the art form, especially for younger generations. But that’s on dark days. Scorsese then praises TÁR, “The clouds lifted when I experienced Todd’s film TÁR. What you’ve done, Todd is that the very fabric of the movie you created doesn’t allow this. All the aspects of cinema and the film that you’ve used, attest to this. The shift in locations for example, the shift in locations alone do what cinema does best, which is to reduce space and time to what they are, which is nothing. What you’ve done, Todd, it’s a real high wire act.” Scorsese also says, “All of this is conveyed through a Masterful Mise-en-scène, as controlled, precise, dangerous, precipitous angles and edges geometrically kind of chiseled into a wonderful 2:3:5 aspect ratio of frame compositions. The limits of the frame itself, and the provocation of measured long takes all reflecting the brutal architecture of her soul: Lydia Tár’s soul.”
