Great news: UN adopted with large majority the AfricanGroup resolution for a global convention to transform the international tax system
All BRICS voted yes
Too bad that US, FR & other rich countries voted no & prefer to keep discussions on global tax reform in their rich club

@CityofCTAlerts Thank you to the friendly team fixing this today. Sinkhole looked massive but they restored water supply by midday (record time). I know it’s their job but it was refreshing to have serious service delivery delivered with a smile.

The most frustrating thing to deal with whether travelling in Africa or out as an African… VISA applications. We are being let down by our leaders who should be doing more diplomatically to improve this area. As for AfCFTA, free movement of people, otherwise what are we doing?
