My dad was on maintenance crews for the B-52 during the Vietnam War. He passed away five years ago from cancer related to his service. Seeing the BUFFs in flight was always a fond memory for him. 🫡

She’s standing on a grassy riverbank getting soaked, making cast after cast, then finally nets a beautiful trout and can’t stop smiling. At one point she asks if stocked trout actually count. My answer? If you got rained on, put in the work, and caught the fish yourself, it counts. 😂 Rainy fishing days means Fewer people, more peace, and every fish feels earned. I wasn’t wandering around the store for ages. I was gone for less time than it takes to decide what to buy in the checkout line. What made it even more frustrating is how quickly it all escalated into a full tow situation instead of any kind of warning or ticket first. Now I’m stuck dealing with fees, paperwork, and losing my whole afternoon over something that lasted just a few minutes.
