@repentency I maxed out at 2x Overshield with Vampirism and 200% recharge, 4x overshield seemed like too much! haha.

@RazorwireRPG He was an artistic genius when it came to evolving old Fallout into more modern Fallout. I feel like his vision really was perfect.

Adam Adamowicz's Fallout 3 concept art is actually kinda brilliant and I really wish this was the approach that Fallout 4 took. I still think they could of gone harder in Fallout 3 itself, but his texture, tone and style is a fantastic evolution of OG Fallout's. I can't say the same as to the worldbuilding and writing, but Adamowicz had a tremendous grasp on where to take Fallout and I really think his vision was wasted.

@DrakonHebi @RazorwireRPG Genuinely terrifying designs. The metro tunnels are quite spooky even with vanilla designs. These look fantastic and add to the immersion that these are essentially walking corpses.

@RazorwireRPG Hey! I've just done some remodeling and retexture work for the Ghouls on Fallout for Dragbody's mods. I thought on leaving over here some of the final results! ☺️

I don't know why, but the Fallout 3 Ghouls just hit different. I think it has to do with how everything in Fallout 4 has this softened palette and texture approach that just feels "mushy". Even at higher resolutions Fallout 4 ghouls look odd - though I like the idea of the Withered Feral Ghoul. I really prefer the Fallout 3 Ghouls because they have a very distinct and clear silhouette and a great head sculpt. Someone commented (apologies, I don't recall who) that these were designed in part by Adam Adamowicz to have their eyelids rotten away, driving them insane. And you can see that in the design! The Fallout 4 Ghouls have the facial features of sleepy old men. I even prefer fighting Fallout 3 ghouls as they don't do that obnoxious leap and fall attack, that just annoys me more than it ever frightens me.

I am so grateful that I got to be a part of something this special. These past few years of HCS 2023-2025 will be something that I will never forget. These past few years have shown me I still have so much drive in me. I have a feeling this is the beginning of something bigger.
