The Blackfoot fed themselves on the northern plains for at least ten thousand years. Ten thousand years. Longer than every European nation has existed in its current form. Longer than the United States has existed by a factor of forty. Then the bison were commercially annihilated in two decades. Then the Blackfoot were confined to reserves. Then they starved. You looked at that sequence and concluded they probably would have starved anyway. What exactly was going to starve them in the previous ten thousand years that somehow didn't?
Nikolai Vsevolodovich@nikolaivsevolod

@nxt888 They probably would have starved to death regardless.

This is an utter shame to the American people, and why our government is a laughingstock to much of the world: when our UN ambassador has the temerity to argue that Iran doesn't have the right to "choke off the entire world's economy" and claim it was because of "a dispute over its nuclear program" --when Iran took control over the Strait ONLY after the WAR we choose to start against Iran, is humiliating. This exposes the arrogance and hubris of our leaders. We can start a war against another country that violates the U.S. Constitution, our own laws, and every international law, and then when they retaliate against our interests in ways we hate, instead of recognizing our actions spawned that action, we make the pathetic public attempt to foist all the responsibility on the nation we attacked illegally. No one is fooled outside of the president's core supporters, and it further deteriorates our standing and credibility among both our allies and adversaries alike. We should never have started this war that wasn't necessary for our security, that was too ambitious for the forces we had to dispatch, and against an enemy that had too many defensive capabilities for us to reasonably overthrow. At least don't add insult to injury by trying to play the victim.
Ambassador Mike Waltz@USAmbUN

We cannot and the world should not tolerate an Iranian regime that is trying to choke off the entire world’s economy and hold everyone hostage because of a dispute over its nuclear program. @ShannonBream @FoxNewsSunday

One of the most shocking videos ever shared on the internet.. Moments documenting hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza being forced at gunpoint to leave their homes during the war, before their houses were destroyed before their eyes. Painful scenes the world should never forget, no matter how much time passes.

I’m glad a mainstream outlet is finally covering the routine rape of Palestinian detainees by Israelis, but it’s frustrating that there’s mountainous evidence that this practice has been going on for years if not decades, yet it took until now for the MSM to cover it. Contrast that with the coverage of alleged sexual assaults on October 7, most of which turned out to be fabricated and yet were widely reported, including by the Times, absent an adequate investigation. This is the two-tiered world in which Palestinians reside. Real sexual assaults of Palestinians are ignored for years; but rumors spread by genocidal maniacs are amplified without so much as a fact-check when the ostensible victims are Israelis

@CranesOfMemory @MaitreyaBhakal Murderers do get executed in Israel. Even those suspected of murder. As long as they’re non-Jewish Palestinians. Israelis may also be punished for murder, but they’re not executed

Nazi Germany was an authoritarian dictatorship, where dissent was punishable, often by death. Israel is a "democracy", with "free speech" and "freedom of expression" and a "free press". Yet, there was *exponentially* more opposition to Nazism in Nazi Germany than there is to Zionism in Israel today, which is virtually unopposed. What does this tell you about Israeli Jews?

Israeli state machinery and society today is *exponentially* more genocidal than the Nazi state and society ever was. The *average* German, including the average German Nazi, was NOT genocidal. However, the average Israeli Jew today is explicitly genocidal, and far more evil. It's not just that Israel is a genocidal state. It's that Israel is a genocidal SOCIETY. The average CITIZEN is genocidal, not merely the average civilian or military official. This was never the case with Nazi Germany, which was never genocidal at the societal level. It's extremely important to understand this, since the empire has worked hard to create this caricature of the Reich. The average German, let alone the average German Nazi, did NOT go around calling for the extermination of an entire people - like Israeli Jews do every single day. German Nazis did NOT dehumanize Jews as much as Israeli Jews dehumanize Palestinians. Indeed, the average Nazi, even the average Nazi government official, didn't even know that genocide was being committed. Today, *every* adult Israeli Jew knows that genocide is being committed, it is literally being broadcast in front of them 24x7, and almost all of them support it wholeheartedly. This is why they keep telling you the opposite, that Jews are "not a monolith". In truth, that statement is much more applicable to German Nazis, who were far more heterogeneous. Nazis were far more diverse than Jews are today, >90% of whom fully support Zionism and the existence of Israel (i.e. genocide and ethnic cleansing). If you put aside the scale, the "Jewish state" is far more evil and genocidal than the Nazi state ever was, and it's not even close. And consequently, the average Jew today is more evil than the average Nazi of the time.

There is something profoundly, sickeningly awry with the Israelis, that they are eager & willing to perpetrate this large-scale rape of men & women & children.
Nicholas Kristof@NickKristof

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…

Today, the @nytimes chose to publish one of the worst blood libels ever to appear in the modern press. In an unfathomable inversion of reality, and through an endless stream of baseless lies, propagandist Nicholas Kristof turns the victim into the accused. Israel - whose citizens were the victims of the most horrific sexual crimes committed by Hamas on October 7, and whose hostages were later subjected to further sexual abuse - is portrayed as the guilty party. This publication is no coincidence. It is part of a false and well-orchestrated anti-Israel campaign aimed at placing Israel on the UN Secretary-General’s blacklist. Israel will fight these lies with the truth - and the truth will prevail.
