@LMobacar Unfortunately Silverback was designed specifically for in-person usability testing, so there aren’t any remote testing features. Some customers have created work arounds though.

@silverbackapp Feature request: Task outline. Having a place for a customer to reference the task (and/or steps) they need to carry out would be helpful too. Can this be done already…? It feels like it should exist.

As a cost-effective, no-fuss solution while out of the office, @silverbackapp is fantastic! And while I rarely have a second monitor unless I'm at the office, I think it should be clearer which screen is being recorded. It's too easy to set up a session and record nothing.

@pixelneer Silverback has always been focused on screen recording rather than live session streaming. Some customers will mirror displays to other rooms. Others have experimented with screen sharing tools. However we’ve found VNC too unstable to build into the app I’m afraid.

@vonExplaino Hi Colin, thanks for your question. Unfortunately version 3 was a complete rewrite so we have been asking previous customers to invest in a new license. Happy researching!
