They gave one hibiscus plant as a return gift at a wedding. Nice and lush green. Fellow was in one of those little growth bags. Ugly and black. I brought him home, put him in an actual pot, added vermi-compost to the soil, a few days later topped it with seaweed extract (really good for plants), looked up hibiscus plant watering schedule and followed it diligently. Yesterday, he died.

Was working in The Hindu at the time and was in the office almost overnight. We were dropped off at the nearest non-flooded point from our houses at around 4 am. Still had to wade through water to get inside. Things were truly bad at that time.

/Getting it off my chest. Couple of weeks back, Brother's family met with a major accident. LM and LS were in Tirunelveli, and I was at Vellore. We all rushed over just before they rolled them into surgery.

@vinayaravind Happens with learning after a break. Repetition helps. But it’s quite hard.

I struggle with even the most basic memorisation, therefore I am struggling with scales and modes etc in guitar class. Was discussing this with the teacher and realised I literally haven't done ANY kind of learning in ages. I guess learning is also a muscle one needs to exercise.
