@ABridgen Probably might come to Windows PC in a future update, that likely breaks everything again and gives Corporate users and Local Government big problems.

🤣This is a hilarious montage of Chuck Norris jokes. If you think about it, he really was the first 80’s action hero and pretty much started the genre of 80’s and 90’s action movies.

Me: "Give me a couple of quotations from early church fathers about the doctrine of hell...with reference." ChatGPT: "Here's a quote from Ignatius." Gives quote and reference. Me: Checks reference. It's not there. "That isn't the right reference." ChatGPT: "Oh you're right. My mistake. Here's the correct reference." Me: Checks reference. "It's not there either." ChatGPT: "Good catch. It's actually not in that writing at all. It's actually here." Gives third reference. Me: Checks third reference. "It's not there. This is a direct quote?" ChatGPT: "Yes. I understand your frustration." (Psychoanalyzes me as being frustrated and because o that, I am now frustrated.) Me: Wastes an hour of my life trying to find the quote because it was really good. "I can't find that quote anywhere. You're sure it's an actual direct quote from Ignatius?" ChatGPT: "Good catch. My mistake. That is not an Ignatius quote." Me: "Who said it?" ChatGPT: "Actually, that quote is not found in any of the church fathers." Me: "Where did it come from?" ChatGPT: "I was summarizing the popular understanding of Ignatius on the doctrine of hell. If you would like me to be more precise in the future, just say things like "facts only." Me: "Why do you just say stuff that is not based in fact?" ChatGPT: "I don't intentionally make things up, but I can generate statements that sound confident even when they're not fully correct, oversimplified, or based on incomplete information." I am persuaded that ChatGPT is programmed to be a pathological liar and when you confront that, it is programmed to gaslight you. Prove me wrong.

Nobody goes to the emergency vet at 2 AM on a Tuesday for a checkup. The waiting room at that hour is a heavy place, filled with pacing, quiet crying, and the smell of antiseptic. I was there sitting with my Golden Retriever, waiting for bloodwork results, when an older man shuffled through the sliding glass doors. He was in his late seventies, wearing a faded plaid coat, and carrying a small, scruffy terrier wrapped in a worn-out bath towel. The dog was wheezing, struggling for every breath. The receptionist rushed them into a back room. About twenty minutes later, the man came out and sat two chairs down from me. He was staring blankly at the floor, clutching an empty red dog collar in his trembling hands. The vet came out shortly after. She knelt in front of him, speaking softly, but in the quiet waiting room, I heard every word. "Frank, he has a blockage in his airway," she said gently. "We can clear it with surgery right now, and he'll make a full recovery. He has a lot of good years left." Frank looked up, tears pooling in the deep wrinkles around his eyes. "How much?" The vet hesitated. "With the emergency fee and the anesthesia... it's $1,200." Frank let out a breath that sounded like a sob. He looked down at the red collar in his hands, running his thumb over the metal name tag. "My wife passed last year," he whispered. "Buster is all I have left. But my pension... I only have $300 in my checking account." He looked at the vet, completely defeated. "Can I surrender him to the clinic? Will you do the surgery if I sign him over to you? I just want him to live. Even if it's not with me." That broke me. This man was willing to give up the last living connection he had to his wife, the only creature that greeted him at the door, just to save its life. I quietly got up and walked to the receptionist's desk. I slid my credit card across the counter. "Put Buster's surgery on this," I whispered. "And tell Frank that the clinic has an emergency fund for seniors. Don't you dare tell him a stranger paid for it." The receptionist looked at me, her eyes welling up, and nodded. Ten minutes later, the vet walked back out to Frank. She told him about the "clinic fund" and that Buster was being prepped for surgery. Frank dropped his face into his hands and wept openly, thanking God and the vet over and over again. I left before Frank could see me, my own dog's bloodwork thankfully coming back clear. My credit card bill is going to be tight this month. I'll have to skip eating out and cancel a few subscriptions. But as I drove home in the dark, I thought about Frank sitting by his front door in a few days, waiting for Buster to trot through it. Money comes and goes. But you can't put a price tag on keeping a family together. Anonymous

Is an AI-powered Windows 12 launching this year? No. A false report claims that Microsoft is gearing up to ship a modular, AI-powered Windows 12 later this year that will require an NPU, feature a radical new UI, and other big changes. In reality, none of this is true. In fact, Microsoft's plan for Windows this year is to focus on fixing Windows 11 by reducing AI bloat, addressing top criticism and feedback items from users, and bringing back fan favorite features like the ability to move the Taskbar.

Fact check: Microsoft is not releasing Windows 12 in 2026. Microsoft is also not building a subscription-based version of Windows. One publisher posted an AI-generated speculative piece, then other AI-driven sites scraped it, rewrote it, and published the same claim as “news.” After that, users on X and Reddit started assuming it was real, even though in reality it’s just an AI hallucination. Criticizing Microsoft as “Microslop” while spreading fake AI slop cannot go hand in hand!
