For the first time in nearly 100 years, a Gray Wolf has appeared in LA County.
The LA Times and CA DFW reported that the 3 year old female wolf, known as BEY03F, reached the mountains north of Santa Clarita around 6 am Saturday. Four hours earlier, she had been traveling south through Kern County. She was born in 2023 in Northern California near Plumas County.
