You do not need an internship, especially if you want to work for foreign clients. You need to be excellent at what you do, then create a crazy good portfolio. If you take project management very seriously and even upskill within the career, it can help you get a sponsored job outside of Nigeria. I know someone who did that. You’re already on the path of excellence. Learn it well; put together a portfolio most clients wouldn’t ignore, then try selling your skills on LinkedIn or Upwork. Since 2023, I’ve worked with an American video production and marketing agency. The skill I learned then was social media management and I earn 20x more than the average Nigerian now. It does take a lot of hard work, but it’s not impossible.

For digital skills, you can do video editing, AI automation and project management, social media marketing etc. For non-digital skills, you can learn vocational skills like electrical engineering, auto-maintenance and repair, plumbing or solar installation. You can learn in a few months and start to earn ASAP.

@Different0165 Consistent IP means using the same IP long term instead of switching servers. Rotating IPs look suspicious to FB, even on paid VPNs.

When I newly moved to the UK, a lot of us believed the maximum we could make was circa £2,000/month. Until I got to the construction site and met a Chartered Engineer doing £600/day, an Electrician clearing £300/day! Ah! My brain reset, kiakia, I went back to Uni at 30 to do Civil Engineering! Abroad will be hard at the start, but it gets better with time!
