Sultan of Oman invited Netanyahu in 2018 and Shimon Peres in 1994 . I don’t why resistards keep glazing Oman same resustards call Saudis and Kuwaitis Zionists btw

Everyone knows my theological (jurisprudential and ideological) disagreements with him. However, he is absolutely right about this. Iran created the perfect storm and it has to now ride the lightning. You cannot be serious about fighting Israel while you are fighting ALL of your neighbors as well (including those that share borders with Israel). This strategy is WRONG. Furthermore the geopolitical situation at present does not favor the desired outcome. It’s just like the Syrian resistance that started prematurely and only succeeded when Russia and Iran had their backs against the wall in Ukraine and Israel respectively. It is all about: (a) building your capacity; (b) waiting for the opportune geopolitical conditions; and (c) timing your strategy to perfection. You get one of these wrong and failure awaits you on the other side of any conflict.

Israel secretly deployed its Iron Dome system and troops to the UAE during the Iran war — the first time it was used abroad. The move deepened Israel-UAE ties, with Emirati officials calling Israel a key ally they won’t forget. Source: Axios

That is precisely the point. When Iranian strategy is viewed through the prism of survival rather than expansion, its logic becomes obvious. As I conveyed to Ishtiaq sb, critiquing his recent Friday Times article, while the United States possesses the overwhelming military capacity to force open the Hormuz Strait, such an action would not come without severe consequences. The economic shockwaves triggered by Iran in retaliation could reverberate across global markets, inflicting damage so profound that any strategic gains would be sharply diminished. Both sides are acutely aware of this calculus. Washington understands the cost of escalation while Tehran understands the leverage of disruption. What emerges, therefore, is a carefully maintained stalemate. My reply to Ishtiaq sb:

Remember when "Dawah Champ" Mohammed Hijab said that Western women who criticize Islam are secretly longing to be raped by big strong Muslim men? 🤔
