Strategic Hubris in IRGC 1. Recent actions of IRGC to backoff from a negotiated settlement indicates that they are drunk under the influence of "Strategic Hubris". 2. "Strategic Hubris" is a systemic failure of judgment in military commanders when they misread the nature of war itself. 3. This delusional granduer in IRGC has taken shape as under:- a. Mirror Imaging Assuming the adversary thinks like you and will fight exactly like you have predicted. b. Tech Over Confidence Belief that only certain specific tech capabilities (missiles, drones etc) can compensate for broader structural weaknesses in the military. c. Intelligence Bias Filtering information and intelligence to reinforce pre-existing beliefs while ignoring the contradictory battlefield realities. d. Past Success This belief is not entirely wrong since it is based upon real past success. However, the problem is with misapplying old success to an entirely different type of war. #IranWar#IRGC #Pakistan #Peace #Islamabad #Vance #Arghachi #Ghalibaf

The Iranians are meeting up with the Indians for a simple reason: Iran wants to negotiate terms with Israel. Pakistan cannot do this for them. As Israeli voices have shown in the past week, they are not happy with Pakistan mediating and their highest officials have stated on the record that Israel doesn’t accept Pakistan as a neutral negotiator because Pakistan doesn’t even have diplomatic relations with Israel. Netanyahu going to the extent that Pakistan’s mediation on behalf of Iran is meant to drive a wedge between U.S.-Israel relations! Compare this to India who have diplomatic relations with both Iran and Israel. This is why Russia is saying that India should play the mediator role. This is also why Israel and the UAE are both happy with India stepping in for this role. None of these Iranophiles will admit this or condemn this duplicitous behavior of Iran. It is OK for Iran to negotiate terms with Israel and its allies for these bigots, but when we say so they call us “Zionists” 🤡

@MirH_x I am seeing a future in some alternate universe where we are going to bomb them with a few other countries. While sheikh run away to the west with all their money leaving expats behind to suffer.

@HExtremous Meh that ship sailed with the KSA/UAE fallout. The strategic defense pact with India and UAE pulling out it's loan came before the iran war and were indirectly linked to our position with ksa. Iran just happened to be the final straw. Us being close to turkey and ksa has a cost.

Pakistan can endure any kind of pressure from its enemies, sanctions from the world powers and even criticism from the entire world. But what hurts the most is when a "Brotherly" Muslim country chooses to side with India against it. Whether it is Iran, Afghanistan or UAE, betrayal from brothers always cuts deeper than hostility from enemies.

I thank my brother HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, for the special gesture of receiving me at Abu Dhabi airport. I look forward to our discussions towards furthering India-UAE ties across key sectors like energy, investment, supply chains and more. @MohamedBinZayed

Climate Prediction Center raises the chances that El Niño will be here sooner and historically strong. The climate pattern influences weather around the globe, so a strong one could have an outsized effect. As if Boomers hadnt fked the planet enough. #elniño #earth

This is the ideologically compromised, emotional belief many close-minded Pakistanis need to unlearn for good. There is no "brotherhood" in international relations - never has been in the history of great Muslim empires even. It is all about interests. It "hurts" you when other Muslim states priortize their own interests because they aren't ideologically weak enough to squander them for your utopian fantasies.

Punitive Deterrence & the Future of Pakistan-Afghanistan Security Dynamics Pakistan's emerging doctrine of punitive deterrence & credible consequence is a major shift from its reactive CT strategy to imposing tangible costs on hostile actors and facilitators across the border. 🧵

@HExtremous We also threw red carpet for Iranian FM, our field marshal went to recieve them. Iran is enemy no.1, for GCC. Secondly modi got highest award from KSA, their investment & trade volume is larger than Pakistan. Every nation had the right. We should focus on our economy.

@HExtremous For Pak international relations there's no equivalence between Israel and India: Israel is not recognised by Pakistan and Pakistan has no formal diplomatic relations with it- even Pakistan passport is valid for all countries except Israel. The same isn't the case with India.

@RumiRomana Yes, Indian atrocities are not legally recognised in UN because countries like Iran block it. As Iran blocked resolution against their brotherly country India in UNHCR and OIC in 1994.

@HExtremous Also, Israel Gaza genocide (as defined by PIL) related allegations are pending in ICJ ; In Indian Kashmir: serious human-rights allegations exist, but genocide is not a widely established legal characterization internationally and no ICJ genocide case against India.

#WATCH | Abu Dhabi, UAE: Ahead of PM Modi's visit, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation, Reem Al Hashimy says, "We are anticipating, with great excitement, the visit of PM Modi tomorrow, May 15th 2026. He is a key figure of friendship, of a longstanding partnership, and a true treasure to the leadership and to the people of UAE. We are very much looking forward to having him come. Our President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed was in India in January of this year, as our Crown Prince in February for the AI Summit. Since PM Modi has taken office, they have been regularly seeing each other a few times a year. So, his presence tomorrow will be part of that continued friendship and relationship and we are very keen and excited to have him come to the UAE."
