Genuinely curious...as an editor, should I let freelancers know that I would rather not work with them again after going through several disappointing rounds of edits or just slowly stop responding to pitches? Both seem trash so open to other suggestions as well.

Lately I've been having convos w/ editors EXPLAINING why rates need to be higher. Explaining inflation & that $30/ hour is less than min wage in the US when you account for high self employment taxes, insurance & expenses. Explaining that good work requires livable compensation.
