In 2003, AD Governors accepted the plea by OBJ to support him so as to avoid the disgrace he suffered in the SW in 1999, 5 AD Governors supported him but Tinubu of Lagos declined based on trust and fragile character of OBJ. AFTER the Presidential election, OBJ won AD States but refused to pick the calls of AD Governors who supported him again, instead he launched a massive campaign in the AD States asking people to vote them out! In Ibadan, he told Mapo crowd that he had no deal with AD and they must be voted out. If Obj had stopped on this, it would have been better because AD had the figures but OBJ used the Federal rigging might to manipulate the 2003 elections. The AD Governors felt betrayed but it was too late. They all lost. Only Tinubu won. Exactly 20 years after, an unconfirmed similar agreement occurred. Tinubu never betrayed anyone. Indeed AGREEMENT IS AGREEMENT. However, before agreement will be agreement, character must not be fragile and trust must not be a confiscated currency! ASIWAJU’S WORD IS BANKABLE. @DeeOneAyekooto Obj was not the main reason AD governors lost. They lost because they performed woefully. People moved against them. Baba Adefarati campaign song "Baba to se farati...." was changed to "Baba to se fegba na...". Osoba made workers see hell. He retrenched many workers. Checked ....
