Behind the scenes: bakery waste, chemical preservatives, synthetic nitrogen (urea), ethanol by‑products, ionophores, mould‑binders… and now methane‑suppressing additives like Bovaer. None of this appears on the label. Families deserve transparency. If supermarkets can list every ingredient in a loaf of bread: Why can’t they list what’s fed to the cows that make our milk? What supermarkets don’t tell you about cattle feed: We imagine cows eating grass. Supermarkets encourage that image — rolling fields, sunshine, happy cows.
