@0xBreadguy @ItsDave_ADA Dave isn’t worth your time. He’s obsessed with dunking on Solana knowing damn well his ghost chain can’t handle the level of activity. They boast about their lack of outages, but like of course a chain can’t go down if there’s hardly any activity.

You're the one who started with transactions - I compared that and expanded on it because you're using it as a proxy for usage, which can be extended to TVL and volume. Btw - every critique you just gave of those metrics applies to TVL on both chains, and despite that cardano is being curb stomped. Just acknowledge that the demand is there for both legitimate and illegitimate use cases. Your counter to 'faked' TVL and delegation is also silly because the vast majority of Solana TVL right now is stablecoins, and within that USDC (the more regulated one). Solana has gone down. That's not great. Cardano has not. That's good! Users are showing to value the former more than the latter. Take something from that.

What I find absolutely hilarious is Solana validators massively profit from congestion. (Yeah something else they also profit from) Why? Because DApps and users attach priority fees to transactions and attempt at competing for blockspace. During periods of demand and congestion this raises the transaction fees significantly. Validators profit from the additional fees. (They even voted to keep 100% of priority fees) It makes sense why. Once again, the validators (the rich hierarchy) profit from Solana users. Solana Validators profit when Solana is congested. Which is why I believe this will continue to happen. And probably why they are trying to "scale" their L1. Has anybody thought... What if Solana was never supposed to really scale but instead extract?
