No, Ian, you don't - which is why a huge number of hunters have gravitated toward 100% copper projectiles or some type of "bonded core" design that's supposed to limit jacket shedding. Remington Cor-Lokt has been around for a long time and compared to more modern ammo it's fairly outdated, as is .30-06 as a cartridge generally. It's not bonded. It's not really a great design when it comes to limiting lead exposure in the meat, but when it was designed we didn't have the modern manufacturing techniques we have today so you got what you got. The reason Tyler used it is because it's cheap and on the shelf at nearly every gun store and sports goods store in the country. Try to keep up, pizza boy, you're falling behind. Clock's ticking.

We all really mad about bipods? The one Lucas showed is phenomenal but beyond that here’s something crazy. No one is forcing you to buy it. I use mostly Harris bipods. ;)

@GranpopTad @GarandThumb1 My bipod of choice since 08. Not fancy/ or great if you need one side longer but being able to deploy at a press of a button or retract quickly was great during GWOT. Picking a system & practicing with it is worth more than any expensive piece. Got a fancy one on my bolt action
