@skittleskitsu Already how it lowkey works irl, there's no single "gay gene" in the way eugenicists think it's more like a series of smaller suggestive genes that bump the % chance of being queer up

@i2cjak Even in cases of colorblindness the green should still be distinct enough compared to other parts of the board especially with its' saturation and lightness values

Ever wonder why (most) solder resist is green? It was the easiest thing for humans (and thus automated optical inspection machines) to see! We see green really well, and contrast between green/silver/copper is quite good.

@lexapr1nce My grandma was opioid dependent for nearly 20 years before she died, I told her about the "when the Walmart getting shot up" joke, she didn't find it very funny

@ResilientGrower All parts of the radish are edible, the greens are excellent for salads

If you start peas, lettuces, radishes, kales, chards, collards, and other cool weather crops today (for above ground crops, the Moon is in a wonderful position right now) , you'll be eating from your own garden in about 1 month (radishes are very fast), with greens and lettuces ready around April 25th, peas a little later. Crop choice and growth rate is location and conditions dependent.
All are easy to grow, easy to prepare, and will quickly encourage the gardener that their time was well spent.

If you start potatoes, winter squash, onions, carrots, beets, turnips, and cabbages today (I know, the moon isn't just right for root crops, but what are you gonna do?), you'll potentially have piles of storage crops in about 3-4 months. Sounds like a clever plan.

@LRSerling The physical penetration itself damages the nerves, try getting a large screw into a small hole without the ply board or whatever you're drilling into not being damaged, it's impossible. Colloquially this is referred to as "broken bladder"

@iluvmichaelhall Smaller household size has given us personal watermelons so I hope that smaller loaves of bread become just as common, back when I could eat wheat this was a problem for me too, I'd buy bread for 1 or 2 sandwiches and then scramble to use it all

@_puppyllenhaal You can drown in 50 feet of water, you can also drown in a hot tub

there is no such thing as "extreme trauma", there is TRAUMA. every brain deals with every situation in a different way, especially a brain that is still in its first years of development
🍎🐇@chancesdarling
What your brain determines extreme trauma is right if it was that extreme to the point you split different parts of yourself due to constant severe dissociation. Extreme trauma can be different for everyone's brains.

@Miss_Oluremi Kinda related. My aunt met a man who wanted kids, she went through fertility treatment for him, this caused a stroke. He waited to call 911 and let her fall / directly pushed her off a chair knocking her head onto porcelain, he left after stealing tf out of her meds after a bit

My 22 year old cousin was in a car accident with her fiancé, he had been drinking. She had her neck broken and was consequently a quadriplegic. He asked for his engagement ring back. She said he could have it but would have to take it off her finger, which he did. Her fingers were curled up. He had to straighten her ring finger out and took the ring off. She cried the entire time, and we all did.

What is the most morally disgusting thing you've ever seen someone do?

@NataliePage Before my father left he harmed me quite badly. He was in the us navy. One time he had to watch me while I was very sick. He tied my hands behind my back and my ankles together with duct tape & left me in a corner all night, I threw up on myself. He touched me other times

Today the @DailyMail published the findings of my two-year investigation "The Brass Pass" into the hidden epidemic of domestic abuse suffered by military wives and girlfriends.
A dossier of 52 cases reveals torture by Army men against their wives.
