@273rules @Dsilkotch @maxamadaibrahim Correct, but you were lying when you said it will soon increase by 30%. If you believe that to be true, show me proof and tell me the date that is scheduled for. or admit that you lied.

@Brooklynmonk @Dsilkotch @maxamadaibrahim US oil exports have increased, which means there is a lot of demand for the commodity, and that explains why gas is now $4.11 and will increase by more than 30%..... soon

@Dsilkotch @maxamadaibrahim Ok, well, they should get started on that then. By the way, did you know that more military leaders in Iran have been killed than total US servicemen so far? I believe the number of US killed is still only 14. Also, the US oil exports have increased, Iran's have collapsed

I promised the people of Okigwe, Ehime Mbano, Onuimo, and Ihitte Uboma LGAs that my administration would prioritize infrastructural reconstruction following the devastating insecurity that once threatened their lives, livelihoods, and economic activities. That commitment remains firm and unwavering. Interestingly, the committee set up for this purpose, ably headed by His Eminence, Dr. Samuel C. Kanu Uche, GSSI, has diligently carried out an independent investigation based on its clearly defined terms of reference. Upon receiving the comprehensive report detailing their findings and recommendations, I reaffirmed this promise and assured the people of immediate action on key recommendations that will deliver quick and visible impact, while structured plans are underway to address the remaining aspects. As we steadily advance development across our dear Imo State, it is imperative to note that the destruction of public and private properties for no just cause undermines our collective progress. Let us embrace peace, uphold unity, and work together toward the successful realization of our shared goals. - Hope Uzodimma

MILITARY DESTROYS ISWAP WATERWAY LOGISTICS NETWORK IN DEVASTATING PRECISION STRIKES, NEUTRALISES SCORES IN LAKE CHAD Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in sustained offensive operations conducted in the night of 21/22 April 2026, delivered devastating precision air strikes that dismantled ISWAP terrorist logistics networks along the Lake Chad waterways around the Kaniram Island axis in Northern Borno State. Acting on credible Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) inputs, OPHK air assets established persistent overhead presence and confirmed the concentration of over 30 terrorist boats and associated terrorist elements coordinating movement and resupply activities. Target validation and positive identification were carefully achieved, ensuring high targeting fidelity prior to engagement. Following deliberate confirmation in line with Rules of Engagement, OPHK executed well-coordinated precision strikes that destroyed several boats and disrupted the terrorists’ logistics hub. This immediately degraded their mobility and ability to sustain operations. Real-time ISR enabled rapid follow-on strikes on fleeing and regrouping elements within nearby vegetation, leading to the neutralisation of over 30 terrorists. Surviving elements were observed escaping in disarray, reflecting a breakdown in their cohesion and command structure. In a related engagement at Sowolwolo in the Sambisa Forest axis, additional precision guided strikes was conducted following target fidelity acquisition with Partners. The strike took out 3 terrorist Gun trucks and neutralised more terrorists within the vicinity. Battle Damage Assessment (BDA), supported by post-strike intelligence, confirmed significant enemy losses, with evidence of mass burial activities especially by ISWAP elements in the Mallam Fatori axis further underscoring the scale of attrition inflicted. Ground forces are currently exploiting the effects of these strikes to dominate adjoining areas and prevent any reconstitution by fleeing elements. These operations highlight OPHK’s sustained offensive pressure and effective air–land integration in dismantling terrorist networks, degrading their capabilities, and denying them freedom of action across the Joint Operations Area. The Military High Command commends troops for the impressive battle performance and urged them to sustain aggressive operations to dominate the battlespace. OPHK will continue to maintain relentless pressure on all terrorist elements until they are decisively defeated. SANI UBA Lieutenant Colonel Media Information Officer Headquarters Joint Task Force. Yesterday, I had the honour of performing the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 1,200 housing units under the Federal Housing Authority’s Renewed Hope Housing Project in Umuahia. This landmark project, made possible through the collaboration between the Federal Government and the Abia State Government, makes Abia the first state in the South East, and among the first five states in Nigeria, to partner with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration on this initiative. I sincerely thank His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for approving the project and commend the MD/CEO of the Federal Housing Authority, Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, and his team for their commitment. Together, we are expanding access to affordable housing and improving the welfare of our people. Before authorising the groundbreaking, we ensured that verified landowners among the host communities were duly compensated. Out of about 900 claimants, over 800 have already been settled in full, while the remaining are encouraged to resolve bank or ownership issues so they can access their payments, which are already deposited in the bank. As I emphasized during the ceremony, our focus remains on people-oriented projects that uplift lives, beyond the distractions of politics, ethnicity, or religion. The welfare of Abians will continue to be our priority.

BREAKING: President Tinubu has announced plans to waive debts owed by domestic airlines to aviation agencies and to scrap multiple levies, taxes, and fees on domestic tickets, as part of measures to cushion the impact of the ongoing Jet A1 fuel crisis. Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo made the disclosure during a meeting with airline operators and oil marketers today in Abuja. The meeting was convened to address the astronomical rise in the cost of Jet A1 fuel. Keyamo said, “I had the privilege of meeting Mr. President to brief him about the meeting, and Mr. President mandated us to quickly bring a request to him. The first request that he will consider and grant is a generous discount on the debts the airlines are owing the aviation agencies, NAMA, FAAN, NCAA, and so on and so forth. “The percentage of discounts and all that Mr. President will decide, he is so concerned about what is happening. He asked me in particular to express his deep appreciation to the airline operators. He knows the conditions under which we operate. The minister added that the president would also consider broader reforms to reduce the burden of multiple charges on domestic air travel. “The second request Mr. President has asked that we should bring for him to consider fully and grant is that he wants to set up a committee to address the issue of levies, taxes, and fees on domestic tickets once and for all. This request has been on for a long time. So Mr. President will put the team together, and he’ll give them a deadline to report to him as quickly as possible on the government fees and charges and levies that we can remove from domestic tickets for now to give respite to Nigerians who are also buying their tickets. “And of course, he’ll consider a date for the airline operators to meet him one-on-one for the other more robust discussions regarding access to capital and all of that,” he said. Responding on behalf of the airline operators, the Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, asked Minister Keyamo to tell the president not to decide the percentage of discount to give the airline operators, but to rather approve a total waiver of all the debts they owe. Onyema also asked President Tinubu for a suspension of further payment by airline operators until the Strait of Hormuz reopens. Onyema also commended President Tinubu for being a businessman president who is very, very responsive, recalling how he removed the 4 per cent Free on Board (FOB) for airlines within 24 hours. Additionally, Onyema asked President Tinubu to look into the cost of acquisition of funding for airlines. He said all over the world, they acquire at 3 per cent. “In Nigeria, we acquire at 30 to 35 per cent. This is killing. That’s why airlines owe FAAN, owe NCAA, owe everybody, because we are the sacrificial lambs. It’s not a lucrative business. So we ask Mr. President to please fund the Bank of Industry. “That is the only bank that is still doing single-digit or at least 10 per cent interest to airlines. But they don’t have funds now. Mr. President should please help us to fund the Bank of Industry very well because that is another way of helping us in the long run and permanently,” he added.
