Lulu better go back to school to learn why capitalism has enriched us all. It is the not the disparity in wealth that matters. It is the actual wealth of any sector of society that counts. Every level is richer today than before. The lowliest paid day labourer lives better today than a king did 300 years ago. Capitalism took hold in western Europe by the late 1600's and eventually spread to the whole world, enriching us all.

If global warming was a real and present danger there wouldn't be ~ 150 different days of the calendar in Ottawa, Canada where the high temperature records were set before 1950 and are still standing today. For those who argue that the lows are getting higher, instead of the highs : my argument is who cares? Today's low temperature was 15 C. I won't die because the low temperature increased from historical average of 13 C to today's 1 day low of 15 C. And as you say 1 day is not enuf to make a trend anyway.

However plutonium 239 has largely replaced Uranium 235 in atomic bombs. The mass number = number of protons + number of neutrons. Notice that iron is the most stable of all the elements and has the highest binding energy per nucleon (the energy that keeps protons and neutrons together).
