HDDs worked by by basically having countless tiny squares and magnetizing them or not and reading them as 1 (if magnetized) or 0 (if not) to store data right?? Same with floppies? And rubbing a magnet against it fucked up lots of the magnetization

it fucks me up mentally that electronics and magnets just got over their beef for the most part like they're chill now. my phone has a magnet on it. my pc case has a magnet on it. unsettling

@KiterMyonMyon @thegrayfruit Stopped using magnetic components, it was memory that was the big issue with old PCs and such and TVs/Monitors had CRTs which were sent screwy

been playing bo7 in my free time & I hate to break it to my COD boys but this isn't a bad COD. Way better than BO6 and I dare say better than MW3 & that's kind of problematic. The fact this is one of the worst selling games of the franchise when it isn't even bad is very telling when it comes to the public opinion of this IP. It's a clear signal that they've lost alot of the faith of their consumers and players are moving on Very VERY deep hole Activision has dug themselves into that's going to be very hard to crawl out of. MW4 gonna have to hit hard

@TheCh0pper Cutscenes need to stop being Marvel teasers for something else and just tell a heckin story. Each end cutscene should be self contained and give us story about the current map and beyond. Nowadays, every cutscene just spoonfeeds us where we're going next. Zero story.

Random thought; but wanted to Tweet while it was on my mind, I think the BIG difference of why the newer Zombies storyline isn’t clicking for people as much (Cold War-BO7) compared to the old zombies storyline, (WaW-BO4) is that there is a severe lack of INTENT with the new games & it’s choices Think about how deliberate small details & choices were back then, “why are the zombies eyes this color?That must mean something” & most of the time, it did, all these small details had reasons for belonging in the gameplay or story Nowadays it seems like there’s hardly ANY intent at all, why on earth is the Blundergat on Paradox Junction?? Why was the Sentinel Artifact dug up in BO6? “Cause it would be cool lol” feels like it’s the answer to the matter of intent guiding the vast majority of choices made in the zombies ecosystem now
