The gym that was right next to my house is moving. Rather than drive 15min I’m thinking of building a home gym. What are the first things you get? Let’s say budget is $3-5k.

Going to Cubs game tomorrow to see the behemoth Dodgers in person. MLB should whisper in the Cubs ear to start Imanaga tomorrow so we get a battle of the Japanese stars, as Yamamoto will toe the rubber for LA.

@FitTaxBlueprint Do what I can to meal prep myself but backup option is sourcing through meal prep company called Factor. Always have some on hand in case I need them.

Back at it at Hyrox. Performance was below expectations but will focus on coming back faster and stronger. Even bad experiences are positive in disguise – if you are ready to learn from them. Spending the last of today recovering and then it’s dialing back into the training 💪🏼

@BoucherNicolas Costs associated with maintaining a fixed asset in the form of maintenance is an operational expense and should not be capitalized in accordance with ASC 360.

@Budgetdog_ Looked into this before myself (same issue) & makes no sense but the answer is NO All because of different account holder names even though the funds in either HSA can be used for either spouse 🫤 Now have one HSA just sitting there, no further contributions, in cash position

Curious if anyone knows this… Say you have two spouses with their own HSAs on individual health plans. One spouse quits 9-5 therefore no longer actively contributing to their HSA. They get on a family health plan and use one spouse’s HSA moving forward. Can they consolidate the old HSA into the new HSA now that they are on a group plan? @maxpashman @DividendTown @InvestingAustin @thewealthdad @Dividend_Dollar @FinancialAndres @CmgVenture @JTHinvest @401k_Maxi

Finance Majors: Consider adding an Accounting Degree. Unless you plan on moving to NYC, Chicago, Etc Accounting will give you more options in mid-market cities. Lack of options often send Finance majors to Northwestern Mutual to sell insurance.

10 years in the future, what skills do you think will be valuable to accountants? Mine are below! - Analyzing Data - Explaining results of data in financial/general terms. - Making improvements based on data analysis.
Dennis Sherrin@DennisSherrin

@Jmcgowan3838 Agree. What do you think that expertise will look like in 10 years compared to what an accountant offers today?

The more you workout does not equal more progress. After a certain point, doing more will actually set you back. Your body needs adequate recovery in order to grow.
