@considerwthcare @jctrxx He needed to be alongside or ahead at apex to be entitled space on exit. This is to counter Max’s tactic of less brake input to apex to ensure he’s ahead and therefore not being required to leave space for the outside car.

@jctrxx True + EVERYBODY seems to forget that Norris’car has breaks and he has choices.He clearly figured out(or a deal was struck with FIA)that if he keeps going around the corner and effectively gets pushed out by Max it will lead to penalties against Max.He was creating the situations

Max can't win no matter what he does on the track, the level of media pressure and bias this week I feel played a huge part in the decision making for those penalties. What's frustrating is that multiple times this year (Austria in particular) Lando dived down the inside of Max and without Max's race awareness would have lead to a total wipe out for both drivers, last week Lando was given 5 seconds for the same kind if incident with the official document stating MV position is what saved Lando from 10 second, yet in Mexico, no hesitation TWO x TEN SECOND penalties, look I'm not saying Max shouldn't have been punished but those are wildly disproportionate to what we've seen all season. There was a lot of talk last week about "just shove it down the inside and force a driver off" yet what we saw in Mexico was Lando shoving his car round the outside trying to force the position same concept.
