@HolyCrapItsFunk @JamesPhl96 Unless you have data to back up inefficiency there’s nothing to talk about here. If you’re arguing for more financial support from surrounding counties then I agree! SEPTA loses $7 per rider on regional rail. If they want to keep those lines in service they should also pay in!

Do you work for, or contract with the Authority ? If you did, you would know that those graphs are pure propaganda. Being “more efficient” than someone else doesn’t negate your fiscal responsibility. Furthermore, SEPTA is the least funded by its local ridership. Pay up to ride the ride.

The SEPTA cuts are so unfathomable to me that I keep thinking the situation will sort itself out and it’s just not happening. August is almost here. Bus routes straight up disappearing are just weeks away.

It is basically incredible that we get the service and ridership we have in Philadelphia considering how little we've invested into the system. Billions have been spent on these modern streetcar and they can't catch SEPTA’s legacy routes from 100 years ago.
