This may be counterintuitive, but I believe we should be lowering interest rates over the rest of the year at least a full 100 basis points.
Inflation be damned, we have most Millennials and their Boomer parents all on stand by waiting for someone to lubricate the wheels of economic activity.
Lower rates would facilitate massive generational wealth transfers and easier decisions for things like non-starter homes, etc.

I do think education is a big driver here. Just being able to understand the differences between taxable and retirement accounts at a young age and then having a career/income from engineering school to allow for consistent investing over the years into both categories surely gave me a tremendous advantage. I still think one of the biggest gaps we have in this country is educating our youth and young adults on all of this.

The thing about Philly and South Jersey is that while we are known for cheesesteaks, we actually have some of the best pizza in the country. Plenty of Italian pros here.
When I’m asked NYC or Chicago Pizza, my answer is Philly and South Jersey Pizza.
I’ll go to bat for that.

I think the stock market right now is reminiscent of the market we seen back in 2022.
I hope that’s not the case but it’s looking it eerily similar to what we went through back then.

@AlexMarkNJ @BarbellFi Different strokes for different folks, no doubt. As a compliment to you, you’re the outlier in that most folks don’t have the discipline to actually invest that difference. Most millionaires become millionaires via 401k and house equity.
