Whoever signed off the shambolic Harvey Elliott loan deal to Aston Villa needs to be sacked by the way. We have a young, hungry, dedicated player rotting in the reserves at another club, whilst we lack the very thing he brings to the team - control, stability and creativity.

Slot didn't luck his way to a title. He was smart enough, initially, to take the brilliant squad he inherited & make only minimal tweaks. The issues started the more he gradually implemented his own style & methodology. Now this is his team, his style & it simply doesn't work.

I also think the distances between every line of team are too far. Back line drops off so quickly while the forwards are still trying to press the opposition defence. Midfield gets split trying to support the attackers in the press and trying to solidify the defence. Need to go back to basics. Compact lines vertically. One unit. Press together or drop off together.

There's a reason none of us knew who Arne Slot was before he was announced as Liverpool manager...

I don't know why I'm trying to justify things to someone that doesn't support the club, understand the club, watch every match. Think what you want, I genuinely don't care. It's clear as day that slot is not good enough. I've explained multiple times exactly why that isn't the case. If you don't have the capacity to understand, that's fine, but don't expect me to waste my time any longer.

I'm bored of saying the same thing...Slot hadn't implemented his style of play in the majority of games that took us 12 points clear. Once he started transitioning away from klopps style to his, we dropped points. 22 losses in the last 12 months. Klopp broke 84 points plenty of times. He had proper challengers each season. Arsenal and City fell off hard.

By the way as each week passes last season looks more and more like it was down to Mo having a worldie of a season and Klopps team DNA. I am gonna say it. Slot tactically looks way out of his depth and hasn’t looked like being able to change it for months

You are happy with this? We've never recovered. Slot allowed the team to party. He himself partied in Ibiza. We still had games to play. What part of our football is effective under slot? Do we press well? Do we create chances from open plan consistently? Do we have a clear pattern of play? Do we defend in a clear, solid shape? Do we counter attack well? What do we actually do well? This isn't bad form. This stems from coaching, tactical setup and standards set by the manager.

From February last year onwards, we won 9/12 league games and cake-walked the title. He got us through that battle, so to suggest now that it was something else is disingenuous at best and, at worst, it's rewriting the past. Just because Steven Gerrard, a man clearly flirting around for work, said it, doesnt make it true.

A very popular take on here that I will never get on board with is the idea that Liverpool winning the league had nothing to do with Slot, yet this season had everything to do with Slot. Last season was his tactics, and he inherited a team which was allegedly due to go BACKWARDS because Klopp left. It was his tactics, his man management and his philosophy that won us the league. The only thing Klopp can get praised for is that SOME of the signings that helped us get there were from his mini stint as a silent Sports director. But Klopp left us, and it corresponded in a title-chasing collapse, so how the hell does he get any praise for the following season?? Slot was the one who lost players he didnt want to lose that were crucial to helping him win the league title. It will also be Slot that is sacrificed for failing to get the rebuild firing as quickly as possible. But you cannot say last season had nothing to do with him and this season has everything to do with him. You all would have protected Klopp with your life if we had the same season under his leadership. I guarantee that FSG and Pep Linjders would have been to blame.

See the usual boring negativity on here because Liverpool are back and playing again. Here's an idea if it bothers you that much you want support your team when they need you the most then maybe don't put yourself though of all. Win lose or draw i will support up the reds
