The "Luka is not 1st Team All-NBA" takes were absolutely ludicrous. And they look dumber with each Lakers game. Having him behind SGA, Jokić or Wemby in the MVP conversation is defensible, but that line is bending.

If Luka Dončić keeps up his level of play from the last couple weeks over the rest of the season, and the Lakers finish in the mid-50s, his MVP argument is going to be strong. There's a significant efficiency gap between him and SGA, but I think he can make up for it with the volume of his playmaking.

@AndrewDBailey I genuinely feel if they’re healthy, they can hang with SA or OKC or they may get bounced in the first round and I wouldn’t be surprised by either outcome. They baffle me. Legit reasons why they’re inconsistent but it’s hit absurd levels.

@AndrewDBailey Damn. You’re even more bullish on the Lakers than I am. I want to believe a title is possible but my concern is just that OKC (and SA to a lesser extent) is practically designed in a lab to exploit every Lakers weakness. You think they can beat OKC?

I think the Thunder, Spurs, Lakers and Celtics can all win the championship. (Maybe the Cavs, Knicks and Pistons, but right now, Boston is the only Eastern Conference team I can see beating one of the West's best in a series.)
