Today was one of those days where I feel like I don’t really understand #React & hooks. I console.log(video_id) and I get the expected value. For the life of me I am unable to pass it to an API call or use it in the return() of useEffect. It is always undefined! Ideas? Articles?

@kentcdodds I am so excited to get my hands on this in the near future! I am working with React everyday at my first dev job with a startup. I am in the docs and different articles trying to learn best practices all of the time. The pitch you make on your landing page speaks to me deeply. 😂

Some people automatically compare EpicReact.Dev to the typical "online course" but it's not. It's more like a 3 credit semester long college class. There's homework, required reading, and soon there will even be quizzes/tests. Recommended schedule is 14 weeks long 📚
