Maybe I’m way off, but why do all these modern cards have so much value? Isn’t there way more of them being printed bc of demand? Like they are high rn but will they have any value in 5-10 yrs? I’m not hating I like them too. Just looking at it as a guy who thinks Vintage is King

@PokeTCGAlerts We won’t but from scalpers either. If we find it in a store, awesome. Its for the kids to open anyway. Not for adults to hoard. When I was a kid, I can’t remember any adult buying packs of cards for themselves.

@CardGameNomad You have to remember most people in this hobby now are NPC's who just follow hype. They have to believe it'll work out because they're obsessed with money. Go to a Pokémon show and meet the average person now who isn't an OG collector. They're legit mindless.

I could write a longer, drawn out tweet why Pokemon investing is dumb as your sole investing avenue, but I’ll just say this….. If you have $10k in modern sealed and hold it for 30 years, you will reach a point where most of it will not move. There will never be a customer base as large as the WOTC nostalgia boomers. As someone who works directly with kids, the amount of kids who have never heard of or considered checking out Pokemon as a franchise is low, meaning that the potential customer base to buy all the sealed being held today will be extremely limited. You will not have as many buyers for Evo Skies in 30 years as we do with WOTC, but the amount of it being kept sealed is probably 100x or more 🤷‍♂️

@basiagrace22 @3Neo3Dionysus3 @EricLDaugh Yeah I get those "shamans" have experience and understand the affects, but they aren't doctors or chemist's. Ibogaine should be done in a clinic setting with heart and oxygen monitoring, IV fluids and electrolytes etc.
