Mike Tomlin on NBC for Steelers-Ravens would be just absolutely generational. Football needs Mike Tomlin. And Mike Tomlin needs football. He just can’t stay away from it, and I love it. Will be fun to watch.

Since the opening series in New York, the Pirates have not lost back to back games. That is very encouraging. As much as they’ve lost several games they should have won early on, and Don Kelly has made questionable decisions, their ability to “shower well” is impressive..

Taylen Green is a prospect to keep tabs on. He has measurables like we’ve never seen at the QB position before. 4.3 speed in his 40-yard dash and opened eyes at the combine. Turnovers were his biggest issue in college, but in the right system, he might develop into a great QB.

The Pirates last 3 losses are all games they easily should’ve/could’ve won. Big difference between (14-5) and (11-8). I know it’s just April, but they’ve left a few wins on the table that hopefully won’t hurt them in the long run.

And because of fundamentals or plays that should be routine that aren’t made!

So, Sisk was the first option in the 6th. Ramirez comes in for Sisk and gives up the lead. THEN, Don Kelly elects to put Isaac Mattson in. Too many losses early on because Kelly is trying to save pitching.

If only the Pirates had Bryan Reynolds or Ryan O’Hearn on the bench to pinch hit for Bart there..
