@SandyofCthulhu I've always thought eagle #3 was for Smeagol. Gandalf is LITERALLY an angel, hope is part of his soul. How could he not hope that Smeagol was alive?
There were 3 eagles in the book, though The Professor never says why.
Guess its a good excuse for us nerds to argue on the net?

Interesting point someone made to me recently:
This social contagion occurred shortly after a group of researchers invented plastic straws that could detect date rape drugs in drinks.
With the plastic straw ban, they no longer could be used.
And the 'big news stories' that led to the ban (yes, based on bad math by a 9 yo) came out A WEEK AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT.
Coincidence?

This seems like a good time to remind people that the panic over plastic straws was largely set in motion after the media reported a few years ago that Americans were using 500 million plastic straws a day. That figure was taken from research done by…a 9-year-old boy.

@DaveXDavieau I love Raistlin, in the sense that he's an AMAZINGLY deep & nuanced character. He bullies Caramon, belittles everyone else, & is the anti-hero of the trilogy but saves it all in the end.
Still, he doesn't go FULL evil til the Twins Trilogy.

A lot of #Dragonlance people love this guy & it's true that without him the war of the lance is lost. I personally don't like him, he's a jerk, but that's just one man's opinion. I still wouldn't change one iota of the story.
If he isn't there to dispel Araikas's shield, if he isn't there to help Berem reach the stone.... All Ansalon, maybe all of Krynn falls to Takhisis (IMHO)

@OldHollowTree Just add a note to the bottom of the label. People who buy stuff like raw honey pretty much know this already, and people who just buy it for a lark can read the label.
If you sell it at farmers markets and festivals, put a couple signs on your booth.

Help me solve a problem.
If I sell raw honey, it has the potential to “cream” or crystallize if it gets cool. This is fine normally.
However, if I sell raw honey in these tall bottles, you can’t pour it out without warming it.
I see three options:
A) provide some kind of informational tag explaining the honey SHOULD do this and it just needs to be warmed up.
B) change the packaging to a wide mouth jar.
C) pasteurize it.
Option B seems like the best option but people like the tall jars AND they like raw honey.
What do you do here?

Assuming they’re the same price, would you prefer to buy raw honey or honey that has been pasteurized? Raw honey isn’t processed, offering more health benefits and a richer taste, while pasteurized honey is treated for consistency and clarity. Pics of each below.

@InformedNJNurse Twice, in fact. Once as a young kid 4 or 5 which was very mild. The second at 17. It was SEVERE. Was out of school for a month, and sick as a dog almost the whole time.
And you bet your ass I got the Shingles vaccine
I've had 3 relatives get Shingles, and it FUCKING SUCKED!
