@aussi3dutchman @DrCraigEmerson You're suggesting Liberal members are leaving because they preferenced One Nation over Labor. I'm tipping you haven't been to a conservative Liberal event in your life if you believe that. 👍
English

@AusExplained @DrCraigEmerson You're forgetting that they did, in fact, preference One Nation, and their voters are living in droves.
So, using your logic, what does that tell you?
English

The Liberals’’ decision to preference
One Nation in South Australia was a disaster as I predicted.
The Liberals are at it again, preferencing One Nation thenewdaily.com.au/news/politics/…
English

@94Seats @GeoffWr33389394 I don't measure our crime rates by other countries. We are the lucky country remember?
I measure it on previous years, on our way of life, and what Australians have to come to expect.
We are WELL below that now.
English

@AusExplained @GeoffWr33389394 The government is hardly left, let alone radical. Knife crime is nowhere near international levels. And gun crime is almost nonnexist
English

@colonelhogans Former prostitute in Parliament in Victoria (Fiona Patten), former stripper in Parliament in Victoria (Georgie Purcell).
If you are fine with these women entering Parliament after their sexual proclivities were published, you'd need to find something else on the One Nation fella.
English

@BarkingMaad @Peter_Fitz Agreed. I think it shows people are growing in their frustration with the 2PP system, & radical change being done by those in power that were not given "a mandate" to make radical changes.
English

@Peter_Fitz There are reasons for its increasing popularity, regardless of One Nation's flaws or limitations. Whether One Nation represents those reasons is irrelevant. Change is coming.
English

Not sure about after two years but, overall, 70 per cent of those elected under that banner have left it. It is a circus, with more clowns than it knows what to do with.
PenshurstClint@PenshurstClint
@Peter_Fitz Do we know how many people are elected under the One Nation banner and then quit within 2 years
English

@KatyKray73 Unfortunately this election was a test for which party would achieve opposition status
English

Bloody hell South Australia... another term of Malinauskas and his crew?
What were you thinking voting for more of the same?
Reap what you sow! 🤯🤦🏻♀️
6 News Australia@6NewsAU
#BREAKING 🚨 6 News projects Labor will win the South Australian election
English

@KatyKray73 @lauren_vasiliou Too many people on the left (the very ones that pretend to care about the marginalised and vulnerable) have not yet been affected by Labor policies, so frankly they just don't care. They don't see Labor destroying the middle class & keeping the poor in poverty. They don't care.
English

@hellohiheyxx I think it probably says more about who is on X lol.
Maybe the other socials have Labor trending 🤷
English

@AusExplained Wow amazing ON can win the trending on twitter today award whilst Labor wins elections
English

@AusExplained For having a candidate who is wanted in England for sexual assault after doing a runner.
English

@JaneCaro Politics is a pendulum.
To say that it is swinging to the hard right, is to agree it has swung far to left, and is attempting to rebalance.
We have swung far to left, & this was always going to be the consequence.
Centre left/centre right is best for the majority 👍
English

Interesting 🤔
4 countries that 15 years ago you would have said were some of the best & happy places on earth.
What happened you say?
Well.... You only need to take a look at the extreme left politics & policies that have adorned all of these countries to get your answer.
Yossi BenYakar@YossiBenYakar
Does anyone know what happened to Britain and Canada?
English

@AlboMP That's great Albo, but why is it that Christianity is the most scrutinised & criticised, Jewish people are the most killed & Judeo-Christian values are the most under attack? It's not the end of elimination of discrimination for us - it's the elimination of us!
English

Australia's diversity is our strength. And I’m proud our team is as diverse as the communities we represent.
Different backgrounds, different perspectives, all making us a better government.
On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, we’re committed to making sure every Australian feels safe and respected.
No matter what language you speak, or what faith you practice.

English

@ChrisHeHim1 I don't blame her! I wouldn't let the psychopaths ABC employs anywhere near me either.
x.com/i/status/20349…
Meshy@meshygrey
@NormanHermant @abcnews Seriously? The sheer nerve of some people! Just look at the kind of people the ABC employs. Ritchie worked there for 40 years! I want a full refund, and proper compensation.
English

Bitter Pauline Hanson has banned the ABC from attending their election night event.
Why? because she was forced to dump the candidate for Adelaide, Aoi Baxter for serious sexual assault charges reported by the ABC. #savotes #SAElection

English

@carty777 @JennyTa22393082 @KosSamaras @AlboMP Agree the wilderness.
Not sure about the candidates, but it takes time to build credible, reliable, solid "leader presenting" candidates. Labor does this brilliantly & have been doing it for 25 plus years. We are well behind them on that front.
English

@AusExplained @JennyTa22393082 @KosSamaras I am no fan of @AlboMP and his do nothing Govt but I see why they are so smug. The right in this country have split, probably irreversibly, which means they will be in the wildness for years. And the candidates and members of ON and the Libs are very very weak
English

@JennyTa22393082 @KosSamaras I have heard that. I get it from her branding perspective. But there are other ways to "work together" without absorbing other party views etc. Pooling resources, strategic candidate placing, social media combined efforts, common slogans that unite the right, etc. Would be great?
English

@AusExplained @KosSamaras They tried that, there were too many chiefs..Pauline likes to be in charge..she won’t compromise with the other minors.
English

@JeffGendz Some of the worst Jeff?
Have you seen my profile picture? 😂
English

@AusExplained Featuring some of the worst “AI slop” I am yet to see on X! Seriously ….. ?
English

@JennyTa22393082 @carty777 @KosSamaras What model do you think is fairer? I've watched an interesting video on different voting models... I'm not sure which one democratically is the best..but Australia's system actually does seem the best of the worst options 🤷
English

@AusExplained @carty777 @KosSamaras That’s why I find preference voting redundant it always gets labor across the line, they’d be nothing without it. It needs to be scraped.
English

@Mac848008049903 I'm sure she'd bake an argument for triple costs - fuel prices, inflation and debts all gone up, so so would the price of jail Labor to make them 🫣
English

@AusExplained What happened to the gold plated machete bins, don’t they take knives.
Maybe Jacinta just needs to get her mates mates to make some new ones.
Wonder how much they will cost.
