@outaylor Samsung cameras are better than the sony cameras in iphones. Apple's camera software has been better than samsung & google for a while. This could mean that the apple camera setup becomes the undeniable king of phones. This is a good move imo

@ettie_fr I WISH. FFXIV's various wikis are ASS compared to wowhead & icyveins. That's why there are so many mods that do a lot of that functionality

@Jisko888 @Kougaon_ DT suffered the frustration of the very lackluster post patch drought. EW was a great .0, but the content after was very sparse because of the overhauls. DT wasn't going to succeed because it didn't have a 9/10 story to carry the same tired content drip and grind expectation

@Kougaon_ Dawntrail's biggest sin, and the reason for most issues: It followed Endwalker. Funny enough, Endwalker had the same issue for most, following Shadowbringers. Dawntrail was *fine*, and the 7.x stuff has been great. Is it the top expac? No, but there can only be one #1 anyways.

@andres_vidoza I feel like Arch is winning these days. Between SteamOS and CachyOS, Arch has never had such strong support and easy of use. I'm moving my server over to an arch LTS kernel from debian, that's how much I like it

Raiding is fun, but not everyone wants to just follow the guides. There's a lot of fun in figuring the fights out

@_SweetDan @BONKA_GIGA @roegamaniac @Dipfuzz Oh and I didn't get to experience the cosmic exploration prog because I had to work, and it was fully completed within 6 hours of release 😭. FF has a lot to enjoy, but they don't build on any of it, and once it's done, it's dead content. it's depressing

@AzureCrux @BONKA_GIGA @roegamaniac @Dipfuzz So I noticed almost everyone upset seems to be a raider. It seems people somehow let raiding become a chore, something you have to clock in daily. If progging and prepping stopped being fun I'd give raiding a break for a time, it seems to have turned a game into work for you.

@_SweetDan @BONKA_GIGA @roegamaniac @Dipfuzz Oh not at all, raiding was just the thing keeping me here. Love the boss fates, love Eureka/Bozja, love DD. But the new bozja clone is just not fun. Fates are dead once people get their items, and everything else is some sort of excel simulator (island sanctuary, etc)

@SolArturia_ @Dipfuzz @_SweetDan @BONKA_GIGA @roegamaniac I just wish there were more uses for the other abandoned content in the game. Fates/hunts serve no purpose outside the few rewards. You grind the soul out of content for the rewards then don't' wanna do it again. The only content that I go back to is DD, for the love of the game

@Dipfuzz @_SweetDan @BONKA_GIGA @roegamaniac @AzureCrux The df putting everyone in the same content is because of a lot of the "available" content being optional. If they make it so that side content is required to be run for story progression or roulette access, more people would have the content unlocked and it would be in the df

@_SweetDan @BONKA_GIGA @roegamaniac @Dipfuzz You have to maintain your full time life, then invest minimum of 8 hours a week to make sure you cap your currency so you can be ready for your 2-3 hours of raid prog a week. Then you have to add 1-2 hours of reclear to get 0-1 hour of prog a week after that. And pray for gear

But if my choice was between, let's say, playing playing Risk or Axis VS Allies I'd rather play Risk because I don't like my games feeling like a chore, so I play something that I fully like.

i am completely infatuated with this game. it will be one of the great racing games. but please @ForzaHorizon put drift suspension on all trucks, vans and 4x4s. it's so much fun for the fantastic sandbox

@Dipfuzz @_SweetDan @roegamaniac having to cap tomes every week to be bis to do week 1/2/3 savage prog in PF to only then deal with pubs that lie about their progress/understanding to then just waste hours wiping... It makes the forced grind SO worth it
