@burnhamfarms Generally think theres less wear and tear on lower hp tractors, and often the tire size is wrong for what we want. Looking for a sub 5000 hour machine with 650 or smaller tires, and a pto. 3 point is nice but not a deal breaker

@flyinfarmer68 @ErickFarmer73 It was better where we didnt have the cows. I like the 15” drill because it doesn’t disturb near as much as a 7.5”. 35mph winds and 60mph gusts all day will blow stuff around. Just kinda all there is to it in this part of the world.

@flyinfarmer68 @ErickFarmer73 We use calmers. So pretty aggressive, but dont blow anything like a chopping head. Flutted rollers would help, but make no till difficult

@BARippe Ran cattle on stalks since late 90’s and have never left early because of wind damage. Alliance. Scottsbluff. Haigler. Yuma. Wray. Huge area too

Why do farmers just farm up to the fence line? Because you get property lines like this… access is poor and the neighbors have a locust, and ceder tree breeding ground… I said I would never farm it, but i might just because im tired of trying to keep trees down

@BARippe Huge watermelon farm by me, they cut the top off old buses like a convertable and throw them in to a guy who catches and stacks them

@DanielG98726044 Be great for that! This one they welded the back on behind the drivers seat. It was pretty well done for what it was. But no ive never seem anyone use a bus for this before

@BARippe We’ve had an old school bus hay hauler for 40+ years. Didn’t know it was special. Was used in a few school and town parades back in its day.
