An employment contract can only be amended where there is a contractual right to do so, or there is agreement with the employee. An employer should never impose contractual changes on an employee, any proposed changes should be discussed and agreed before coming into operation.

Had a brilliant time attending @ELGConf today (and for dinner last night) with @EmpLawyerEmma & @TraineeKatyS. Met some lovely people and I got to substitute for @EmpLawyerSimon in running the Twitter account for the day. Normal service will be resumed next time! #ELGConf
