Today brings us a beautiful new image of M87 by a team led by Lia Medeiros (@astronolia) along with BH PIRE members at Georgia Tech (@Feryal_Ozel and @DimitriosPSALT1) and NOIRLab (@TodLauer). “Fuzzy donut” no more thanks to their new ML technique, named PRIMO.

Astronomers have unveiled the first image of the supermassive black hole at the center of our own Milky Way galaxy. The image was captured by eight synchronized radio telescopes around the world. apne.ws/XMVey4R
