I loved diving into @ARMakrApp with this group today at @BHISD #ISS! How about a virtual tour of an igloo that you can actually walk into? T is thinking ahead and wanting to build geographically correct colonies for her upcoming SS unit using this tool and method @BHedtech

Today in 5th grade at @BHISD #ISN, we designed ornaments in @canva and saved with a transparent background to add to the class Christmas tree in @GoogleForEdu #Slides 🎄 nothing like a little #appsmashing to bring us into the holiday break! @BHedtech

A little @ARMakrApp Winter Wonderland creations today at @BHISD ISS. I think the Christmas tree with ‘ornaments’ of classmates pictures on spheres was a crowd favorite 🤣 I love the imagination of these 5th graders! @BHedtech

Teamwork makes the dream work and I am so grateful for my amazing team that showed up to help me run these stations for 4 days! @LisaKana1 captivated these kids with conversations about differentiating weathering, erosion and deposition in this hands-on sort activity! @BHedtech

The last station spotlight for our WED rotations was the exploration of the @NASA earth observatory website. Ss saw time lapse videos of actual weathering, erosion and deposition in action all around the world. Loved the conversation that resulted from their inquiry @BHedtech

My FAVE station in our W.E.D. rotations was the AR Sand table. We discussed features of topographic maps, created landforms and had incredible conversations about valleys, rivers and water runoff! Plus these 4th graders got to play in a sandbox 😜@BHedtech

One station for our W.E.D. lab was the @Ozobot running the course of the Padma River. The river changed so much due to erosion and Ss could visually see the differences in the snapshots over the years. Then, we made predictions to what the river would look like in 2023 @BHedtech

Talk about 🖐️s on learning! These 4th grade scientists loved using the @mergeedu cubes and explorer app to navigate through their discovery of how the Grand Canyon was formed and could even dig up fossils in layers of rock during our W.E.D. station rotations @BHedtech

A little digital Christmas card creation with @canva this morning at @BHISD ISS 🎄 students loved to be able to share their animated cards with video recordings of themselves seamlessly with their teacher and a bonus copy saved directly into their #GoogleDrive @BHedtech

Spent the last week visiting with every 4th grader at @BHISD ISN in our innovation lab learning all about weathering, erosion and deposition. We used @Ozobot, @mergeedu cubes, our AR Sand table and @NASA’s World of Change site for a true hands-on learning experience! @BHedtech

Loved showing my intermediate teachers all that @canva has to offer beyond aesthetics. Between all of the magic studio upgrades and hidden gems like remote control while presenting, I had them hooked line and sinker before I even got to the education template library! @BHedtech

Hosted a very merry @canva training for our @BHISD campus secretaries today! It was so fun and festive to show them all the amazing things they can create for their staff and students while enjoying some sweet treats! @EdTechBrianne @LisaKana1 @EdTechJennifer @ElainaKloecker
