❖ God chose Israel as a nation, permanently Deuteronomy 7:6 “For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you… out of all the peoples on the face of the earth.” This is national, not symbolic. ❖ That choice is not revoked Jeremiah 31:35–36 “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight… will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” As long as the sun and stars exist, Israel remains a nation before God. ❖ Their regathering is literal and end-times Ezekiel 36:24 “For I will take you out of the nations… and bring you back into your own land.” That is physical return, not allegory. ❖ Even in unbelief, they remain chosen Romans 11:28–29 “They are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.” Not replaced. Not revoked. ❖ God distinguishes Israel from the nations Amos 9:14–15 “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted.” Permanent, geographic, national. God chose a people, gave them a land, scattered them, and promised to regather them as a nation again. That has happened and will culminate in full restoration. Denying a chosen national Israel requires redefining plain Scripture.

There is no modern nation state that is “chosen” by God. Modern Israel is a political entity. Also, if you don’t believe in the New Testament or take it as authoritative, you probably shouldn’t tell Christians what they should and shouldn’t believe about it.
