Hershey’s formula was based on trying to transport chocolate long distances across the US while still maintaining a consistent taste. So it is how many Americans were introduced to readily available commercial choclate. People have a taste for it and the brand is synonymous with chocolate. I think the Swiss are probably the experts in chocolate though.

Your agents suck when using the web because 85% of it doesn't have an API. Browserbase gives them everything they need to do work online. Leading AI companies like Ramp, Lovable, and Clay trust us to power agents that do real work on behalf of real people. With a single API key, your agent gets everything it needs to navigate the wild web: browsers, search, fetch, identity, a sandbox runtime, and model gateway. Stop waiting on integrations, build agents that can browse and interact with the web just like humans.

No, hollywood has always written for ratings. Unless they are chasing an award from their peers and then they cater to the latest thing at investor expense. But typically, shows have been there to sell commercials. They don’t lead, they follow. When they start to think they know better than their audience, they flop. If they want to inject something into the culture, they need to be able to write it in relatable ways. Not ham fist it into established lore like they are writing an After School Special or a ‘Very Special’ episode of Blossom. “Hey audience *poof* gay Klingon! So progressive! Now love us for it!” is shit writing. “Old woman can’t sit in the chair properly! So quirky! Love us for it!” again shit writing. “Ok, this one vomits glitter and everyone is obese or needs glasses in an otherwise technologically advanced civilization. WHY DON’T YOU LOVE US!” They aren’t writing for a modern audience. They are writing for zero audience. If the audiences was locked in a cage and forced to watch then you could claim Hollywood leads change. If they want to lecture, they still need an audience to lecture to.

@Goddess_Yshtola @indymikep42 @BP3DApps @hollywoodscifi Hollywood has always written for “the modern audience”. It’s just that in the past their modern audience had different values than modern audience is today People literally had to fight to change what audiences are willing to accept. Just like we’re doing today

@_p0lybius_ @TaraBull I'll try to find where I saved the images and post them. I wasn't there during Holy Week and didn't see anyone wearing capirotes. Just the figurines. But I remember it being a nice shop with a lot of other glasswork.

@CoreyBladeZ @MatrixMysteries Yes, all the new cars have them so we are all assholes now. But then that resulted in super assholes. Who lift their vehicle but don't adjust the lights. Or put even funkier lights on.

It’s not corporate greed, the brighter whiter headlights are better to drive with. Much easier to see. Unfortunately they make it harder for oncoming traffic to see. When they first came out we called them “asshole lights”. I am now one of those assholes, and I can see way better on our rural backroads and have been able to see deer and avoid hitting them multiple times over. I like them.

A Mount Sinai scientist says the new headlights being used in America are dangerous. Older headlights were softer and easier on the eyes. Now drivers are getting blasted with harsh bluish-white glare every night. This is the result of corporate greed in America.

I think the writers must have this same problem. Any criticism is dismissed as "bothered". So nobody could explain to them that Klingons are already a caricature of 'toxic masculinity'. They couldn't see how to utilize that. They just saw an example of it existing in the universe and had to destroy it. If they wanted a gay Klingon, it would at least be more interesting if they didn't use the tired San Fransisco stereotype. Maybe they could take a page from The Orville who already basically did the gay Klingon back in 2016 and created likable characters.

@RX_9999_2 I don't know about that. Japanese in the US around here are usually assumed to work for major companies that employ a lot of people. If you are a tourist, you probably get more attention or at least treated better. If you live here, people probably just assume you are American.
